The Placenta After Birth

The placenta grows alongside your baby for months, yet it's often the part of birth we know the least about.

In this class, we'll explore what happens during the third stage of labour, the role the placenta plays during pregnancy and birth, and the choices families may have after it's born. We'll also look at how different cultures and traditions honour the placenta, along with options like placenta prints, ceremonies, encapsulation, and other ways families choose to mark its significance. As always, there will be plenty of time for questions, conversation, and curiosity.

Partners and support people are encouraged to attend. Please include the name of who you are bringing with you in your registration.
