About the event
There’s so much focus on preparing for birth that it can be easy to forget to prepare for what comes after.
We’ll talk about what to expect during the first weeks postpartum, including physical recovery, rest and sleep, feeding yourself, visitors, household responsibilities, emotional changes, and adjusting to life with a new baby. We’ll also talk about building a realistic support plan, sharing the load with partners and support people, and knowing when and where to reach out for extra help.
Partners and support people are encouraged to attend. Please include the name of who you are bringing with you in your registration.
This class is pay-what-you-can. Choose an amount that works for your family. If you're able to contribute a little more, you'll help make these classes possible for other families too.
