About the event
If you've ever wondered, "Can I say no to that?" or "Do I have to decide right now?" this class is for you.
We'll talk about how informed consent works, what your rights are during pregnancy and birth, and what to expect when decisions come up during your care. Through discussion, real examples, and plenty of time for questions, you'll leave with a clearer understanding of your options and the conversations you can have with your care provider.
Partners and support people are encouraged to attend. Please include the name of who you are bringing with you in your registration.
This class is pay-what-you-can. Choose an amount that works for your family. If you're able to contribute a little more, you'll help make these classes possible for other families too.
