About the event
The first hours and days after birth have a big impact on breastfeeding, and it's also when families have the most questions.
We'll talk about what to expect after birth, how milk production changes over the first few days, recognizing a good latch, feeding cues, normal newborn feeding behaviour, and when it's time to reach out for support. We'll also make space for your questions and talk honestly about the challenges many families experience in the beginning.
Partners and support people are encouraged to attend. Please include the name of who you are bringing with you in your registration.
This class is pay-what-you-can. Choose an amount that works for your family. If you're able to contribute a little more, you'll help make these classes possible for other families too.
