Birth with an Epidural

Planning to have an epidural? This class is a chance to ask questions before you're making decisions in the middle of labour.

We'll talk about how epidurals work, when they can be helpful, and why timing matters. We'll also cover what the procedure looks like, how an epidural can affect movement and positioning during labour, ways partners can continue to offer support, and what to expect in the hours after it's placed. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion.

Partners and support people are encouraged to attend. Please include the name of who you are bringing with you in your registration.

This class is pay-what-you-can. Choose an amount that works for your family. If you're able to contribute a little more, you'll help make these classes possible for other families too.
